As an integral part of this process, the marketing department:
- Connects prominent Senegalese captains of industry with potential foreign investors interested in joint ventures in niches with immediate return potential. This bridge building takes place during major conferences and trade fairs in the Gulf countries, Europe, Asia, South America and the United States for example.
- Participates in studies, benchmarks tests or prospects abroad to both sell "the product Senegal" and discover best practices with the potential to improve the attractiveness of Senegal (food technology, development of tourism niches in or ICT).
- Accompanies focal points in diplomatic missions abroad to provide potential investors with pertinent and up to date information about investment opportunities in Senegal.
- Continually revises the Senegal Investment Destination package to suit investment needs and respond to opportunities resulting of focal points and direct contacts with investors abroad and their agents.
- Creates technical and industry-specific decision support tools to provide investors with strategic, pertinent and up to date information on targeted areas.
- Highlights success stories of investors settled in Senegal in local and international media.
